Bambu ASA Aero is a highly durable and impact resistant foam material. Its heat sensitive foaming properties allow you to control the density of your model resulting in feather-light printed models. Additionally, it boasts exceptional resistance to temperature, water and UV rays. These unique properties make it ideal for printing long lasting outdoor models and weight sensitive projects like RC airplanes.
Compared to other foamed filaments, ASA Aero is tougher and has higher layer strength, making it more resistant to impacts, crashes and drops, making it ideal for high-stress applications.

ASA Aero is 50%-75% denser than regular ASA prints, making it light as a feather and ideal for weight-sensitive objects such as RC planes and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).With its controllable foaming feature, ASA Aero makes prints less dense by increasing the print temperature or decreasing the flow rate.
The average density of the prints varies with the actual printing temperature, flow ratio, printing speed, model size, wall thickness and fill density as well as the variations in other parameters.
