Flexfill TPU 98A is a semi-flexible filament that offers some mechanical properties demanded in industrial applications. High tear and tensile strength guarantee the durability of 3D-printed products.
Designed by Fillamnetum, Flexfill TPU 98A is a thermoplastic polyurethane showing great mechanical qualities, including elasticity, high tensile and tear strength. The hardness is 98 Shore A.
The material boasts highly reversible deformation and resistance to ozone, oils, and greases, coupled with commendable transparency and enhanced UV stability. This material exhibits notable abrasion resistance and rebound resilience. However, caution is advised regarding its use in the food or medical industry.
• dimensional stability, smooth finish,
• good interlayer adhesion, and bed adhesion,
• low warping and stringing,
• printing with 100% infill ensures tough material,
• semi-flexible, highly reversible deformation,
• ideal for dynamically stressed parts and sealing,
• tear strength, abrasion and wear resistance,
• rebound resilience,
• chemical resistance,
• recyclable, BPA and styrene free, low odor.
The qualities described above make TPU 98A a well-suited material for making dynamically stressed components such as belts, shoe outsoles, wheels, grippers, and flexible covers. Additionally, it is useful in the production of electrical and electronic equipment, free from restricted substances.
The material is available in multiple colors at 3DGence Store. This variety multiplies possible applications of Flexfill TPU 98A and makes it an even more interesting choice for consumer product manufacturers. The polymer offers glossy and transparent optical properties.
